Vintage Base Ball and House Tour at Spencer-Peirce-Little Farm

OxCamNE members are invited to join a family-friendly day at Spencer-Peirce-Little Farm in Newbury MA. Join us at noon to watch a vintage base ball match, where the game is played as it was in the 1860s. The game takes place in a grass field; bring along lawn chairs or blankets for seating. Picnics are welcome and Ipswich Ale and hot dogs will be for sale at the game. The game will start ay noon and last approximately 90 minutes; afterward, people are welcome to explore the extensive grounds of the farm.
Tickets are $5 which can be paid in cash on the day or purchased in advance via Historic New England. There is no need to register in advance if you will be joining for just the game; simply look for our group in the field!
Prior to the game, we will also offer a small group tour of the farmhouse which dates to 1690. The tour will begin at 11 am. If you would like to join the tour, please register online. Tickets are limited and cost $15 per person.
