The English-Speaking Union of Boston will be joined with the Oxford & Cambridge Society of New England in sponsoring a reception and author talk at the Chilton Club of Boston on April 22 from 6:00-9:00 P.M.
6:00-6:45 P.M. Registration and gathering of members for hor'd'oeurves and cocktails 6:45-7:45 P.M. Presentation on Jane Austen 7:45-8:45 P.M. Dessert Reception to meet the speaker, Professor Lindley
The talk will be held at the Chilton Club of Boston, 152 Commonwealth Avenue, Boston MA. Dress code is business casual. The Chilton Club in Back Bay is easily reached by public transportation (Arlington or Back Bay T stations) and parking is available nearby at the Boston Common Garage, entrance at 0 Charles Street. Registration should be made no later than April 17th. The cost is $60 per person for OxCam members and includes drinks, hors d'oeuvres, and dessert during the reception.
